Alicia, Customer Service Representative
Alicia was welcomed to Pet Pals in August of 2020 for her first job in the veterinary field. She loves being able to learn through a practice that uses both Eastern and Western techniques. While this is her first job in a clinic, her appreciation for animals started early in life at her mother’s grooming salon. She spent a lot of her childhood helping out at the shop and around animals constantly so it was easy for her to develop deep compassion for animals.
Outside of work, she maintains a healthy and conscientious lifestyle. Some of her hobbies include spending time outside, reading, traveling/hiking, and experimenting with new recipes. She is planning to soon add a furry friend to her home this New Year.

Mary Jo, Registered Veterinary Technician
I have been in the veterinary medicine field for 17 years, I’ve been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 11 of those years. In my previous life, I was a professional photographer until I decided to follow my passion for animals by going back to school to become a Veterinary Technician. I enjoy learning about alternative/complementary medicine and practicing fear free handling techniques.
My husband and I have been married for 24 years. We run a traveling dog show, Runamuk Trick Dog show, featuring our five high energy dogs. We travel the Midwest to fairs and festivals as well as perform in front of thousands during professional and college football games. When we are not performing, we travel with our dogs to compete in disc dog competitions.
I am so happy to call Pet Pals Holistic Veterinary Hospital my home.
